Al Ikhwan Farms (Pvt.) Ltd is a private limited company, incorporated under the Companies Ordinance 1984, in year 2018. The principal line of business of the company is to cultivate, grow, collect, process, produce, set-up and carry-on the business of comprehensive organic farming and to design, develop, operate and manage sustainable organic integrated farms across Pakistan, especially in the province of Sindh..


SOIFS (Sustainable Organic Integrated Farming System) is an initiative taken by Al Ikhwan Farms (PVT.) Ltd to grow food and food products using the principles of sustainability and responsible agriculture. This project intends to develop production systems where; supply chains will be having food traceability; livelihoods of local communities will be improved through self-reliance by providing many local employments that reduce the graph of poverty in subjected or adjacent area as well as climatic conditions of the area will get better via establishment of carbon sequestration mechanisms.

FISH FARMING AND WATER RESERVOIRS

The cultivation of various indigenous species of fish will be bred and fattened in many ponds, which will also serve as water reservoir and source of supply to crops.

ANIMAL HUSBANDRY

Dairy farming of buffalo, cow and goat, fattening of cow, goat and sheep while poultry section include farming of ostrich, turkey, ducks and various Chicken breeds.

AGROFORESTRY

Agro-forestry by using agro-silvopastoral systems that will help to grow organic feed for animals, reduce negative climate impact, and conserve biodiversity.

WASTE WATER MANAGEMENT

The effluent coming from biodigesters and sewers will be used as a nutrient medium to grow microalgae in raceway ponds and water is recycled through these ponds

BIOWASTE MANAGEMENT

Biowaste from animal husbandry and crop cultivation will go to biodigesters and converted into biogas and fertilizers making the project self-sustainable for renewable energy production and consumption

CROP CULTIVATION

Cultivation of different types of crops including vegetables, fruits, Grain, pulses, herbs, and spices, throughout the year through effective water management system
